He told the clerk he had a gun in his coat, Clevenger said. The clerk gave the man an undisclosed amount of cash and the man ran north on Pennsylvania Avenue toward Jolly Road. Police noticed a man fitting the description of the suspect at Armstrong Road and Joshua Street shortly after the robbery. (HOWELL) Lansing Age 85, died December 31, 1989. Born November 15, 1904 in Rutland, MA, Mrs. Brown was a member of the South Lansing Church of Christ and the Dimondale Chapter O.E.S. Surviving are her husband, Joy 1 daughter, Mrs. Michael (Dorothy) Cook of Ionia; 3 step-sons, Donald E.

of Royal Oak, Robert G. of Haslett and Kenneth B. Brown of Lansing; 10 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; also several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Thursday, January 4, 1 p.m. at the GorslineRunciman Lansing Chapel with Mr.

W. Robert Palmer, Minister Emeritus of the South Lansing Church of Christ officiating. Special services will KRUMM, CARL J. St. Johns Age 76, died January 1, 1990 at his residence.

Mr. Krumm was a member of the St. Peter Lutheran Church. He married Alice Hardtke on January 16, 1935 in Indiana and she survives him. Also surviving are 2 daughters, Ruth Krumm of Flint and Jean Roof of Grand Ledge; 2 sons, Ralph of Lansing and Robert of St.

Johns; 1 granddaughter, Mary; 1 sister, Leona Christofferson of Lake Orion. Funeral services will be held at St. Peter Lutheran Church on Thursday, January 4, at 1 p.m. Burial will be in St. Peter Cemetery with the Pastor Jeffrey Heimsoth officiating.

Arrangements by the Osgood Funeral Home. Contributions may be made to the Heart Fund in his memory..
